Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Gold Top 1971-1973 Vintage: Up for auction is a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Gold Top Guitar. The serial number is 179982. The it was manufactured between 1971-1973. As you know, Gibson did not do such a great job with record keeping in those days. I am told you can get a more accurate date by looking up the numbers on the electronics (volume knobs). I removed back cover, but the numbers were not legible. The guitar has been tested all electronics work fine (this guitar rocks!) Action is med-low. Check out all of the pictures if you have questions or want a specific more detailed picture just ask. The case is original and still functional, but cosmetically rough (several tears & rips - see pics). We are starting this auction out at 1/3 of the price of other vintage gold top Les Paul guitars ...
